Ando haciendo mi tarea del inglés. Así que yo sé de excelentes parlantes anglofónicos que leen este blog que muy bien podrían ayudarme a encontrar algún error en mi composición sobre The Human Stain, a ver qué onda ps.

The title of the book is The Human Stain, a novel, a fiction book of the jew American writer, Philip Roth, winner of the Pulitzer in nineteen ninety eight with his book American Pastoral.

The Human Stain it’s about of an affair between Coleman Silk, professor of Classic Greek Literature, and Faunia Fauley, illiterate and cleaning woman in the same university.

Moreover Coleman has got a secret. A secret has been kept for fifty years, not secret of his affair, but secret of his origin, his race. In the fifties, Coleman Silk forgot origin’s colored family and he invented a origin jew. Syrian jew. He married with a jew white woman and his children were born white. Coleman Silk told his wife and his children a lie. Coleman invented a new life, a new past.

Thanks this secret, Coleman was dean of the university. After, for an incident in a classroom with two black students, Coleman is sacking of his job and his wife is dead.

The Human Stain is about too of the private life. The invasion of the private life in the puritan America. Very important: the novel set in the America of Bill Clinton and his affair with Monica Lewinski.

I’d like because like the authors of the nineteenth century, Roth tell us about of the daily life, mixed the disgraze of a professor with Viagra, Bill Clinton and classics myths, but make a great reflection of it.  ¶ 9:32 a. m.
